Kim Kardashian, the woman who advertised appetite suppressant lollipops on Instagram two weeks ago, made her way to the Oval Office to meet with President Trump and his senior advisor Jared Kushner.
The 37-year-old reality TV star was in Washington, D.C. to advocate for prison reform, and more specifically, ask the President to pardon Alice Marie Johnson, a 62-year-old great-grandmother who is currently serving life in prison for a first-time non-violent drug offense. Kardashian has taken up Johnson’s case in recent months after being moved by a Mic video she saw circulating on Twitter.
The beauty mogul arrived at the White House at 4:30 p.m. EST, clad in lime green heels and an oversized suit and accompanied by her lawyer, Shawn Holley.
President Trump later tweeted a picture of him and Kardashian inside the Oval Office.
